Breaking New Ground Project
Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital, which has served Katy and the surrounding area for more than 30 years, has broken ground on a new, six-story patient tower in a move to meet the wide-ranging health needs of families and businesses in one of the Houston region's fastest-growing cities.
The $85 million expansion will add additional capacity in multiple units, including surgical suites, medical and surgical beds, labor and delivery, and the emergency center, and will bring the hospital's total bed count to 210. It also will be constructed in a way to accommodate future growth.
